The creators of 'Indian 2', featuring Kamal Hassan, announced on Wednesday that the movie's runtime has been trimmed by 12 minutes to present a 'streamlined edition' for audiences.
The sequel to the 1996 film 'Indian', directed by S Shankar, was initially 180 minutes long and has received mixed reviews since its July 12 release. Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies are behind the film's production. The news was posted on the official X page of Lyca Productions, urging fans to experience the 'crisper' version in cinemas.
The original 'Indian' also featured Kamal Hassan in a dual role and starred Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, and Kasthuri Shankar. Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, and Rakul Preet Singh are part of the cast for the latest installment.
