Paramvah Studios has announced its decision to contest a copyright infringement allegation made by MRT Music. The case, filed at Yeshwanthapura police station, claims unauthorized use of two songs in the film 'Bachelor Party', directed by Abhijit Mahesh and released on January 26.

MRT Music partner Naveen Kumar filed the complaint, asserting that songs ‘Gaalimathu’ and ‘Nyaya Ellide’ were used without purchasing broadcast and ownership rights. Allegedly, prior discussions in January failed due to high costs.

In an open letter, Paramvah Studios clarified that the songs were used incidentally—sung by a school girl and played on a TV in the film. The studio, founded by Rakshit Shetty, questions whether these counts as infringement and justifies the high prices quoted by MRT Music. The studio vows to fight the case in court to seek justice for future filmmakers.
