Muharram Procession Held Peacefully in Hyderabad Amid Tight Security

Hyderabad witnessed a Muharram procession on Wednesday, carried out under stringent security measures.

Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and city police Commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy were present at the event, offering 'Dhatti' at the historic Charminar, according to a police release.

The Chief Secretary lauded the efforts of the police and administrative personnel for ensuring smooth proceedings. The police Commissioner expressed gratitude to the organizers and the public for maintaining peace throughout the event, the release added.
