Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated Tamil film 'Indian 2' is set to start streaming on Netflix from August 9, as announced by the platform on Sunday. Directed by renowned filmmaker S Shankar and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and A Subaskaran, the film is a sequel to Shankar's 1996 hit 'Indian'.
Netflix made the announcement on Instagram, stating that the movie will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film originally hit theaters on July 12, featuring a star-studded cast including Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, S J Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh.
In 'Indian 2', Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, a freedom fighter-turned-vigilante tackling corruption in India. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film generates significant buzz, especially with Haasan's recent hit 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
