Ajay Devgn Kicks Off 'Son of Sardaar 2' in the UK

Ajay Devgn's much-anticipated action comedy 'Son of Sardaar 2' has officially commenced shooting in the United Kingdom, the film's producers announced on Tuesday.

The sequel, which also stars Mrunal Thakur, follows up on the success of the 2012 hit 'Son of Sardaar'.

Devgn shared a behind-the-scenes video from the muhurat ceremony on Instagram, captioning it, 'The journey of #SonOfSardaar2 begins with prayers, blessings, and an amazing team.'

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, production for the film will also take place in India. Jio Studios and Devgn Films are presenting the movie, with Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande as producers and N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja as co-producers. The original 'Son of Sardaar', directed by Ashwni Dhir, featured an ensemble cast including Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, and Juhi Chawla.
