Women Lead the Way: Flag Hoisting on Independence Day

Women workers led a significant Independence Day event by hoisting the national flag at the office of the Congress's youth wing, as part of a nationwide women empowerment initiative organized by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC).

The 'Super Shakti SHE Udaan' programme saw its prominence in the national capital, where a Tiranga Yatra was also taken out later, according to an official statement.

The IYC's national president, Srinivas BV, highlighted that the initiative aims to support women in various fields through the Shakti Club, ensuring they do not have to depend on anyone for their rights.
