The visit follows that of Sri Lankan Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, who, along with his family, attended the temple on June 30. They too sought blessings at this sacred site in Tirumala, Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, on June 15, Union Heavy Industries and Steel Minister HD Kumaraswamy offered prayers at the same temple. Kumaraswamy sought divine strength to succeed in his ministerial duties within the central government.
Also known as the Tirupati Balaji Temple, this Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, an incarnation of Vishnu, revered for saving humanity from the woes of Kali Yuga. It stands as a symbol of faith, culture, heritage, and spirituality.
The temple is renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and immense significance to countless devotees on their pilgrimage. Millions flock to this site, making it a beacon of cultural and spiritual resonance. (ANI)
