Transpetrol, a prominent Slovakian oil transporter, confirmed on Thursday the halting of oil deliveries from Russia's Lukoil. The stoppage results from Lukoil's recent addition to a Ukrainian sanctions list.

Despite this disruption, oil flows from other Russian exporters remain uninterrupted, with deliveries continuing to enter Slovakia via Ukraine.

Slovakia's economy ministry also verified the cessation earlier on Thursday, indicating a shift in oil supply dynamics within the region.
