SolarfiX India has announced a strategic partnership with Japan-based Kanemasa to develop a massive 10 gigawatts of solar module capacity in India by the year 2030. The collaboration was unveiled at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2024.
According to Anket Kapoor, CEO and Co-founder of SolarfiX, the ambitious project will be rolled out in parts and phases across key states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. Kanemasa will serve as the technology partner in this initiative.
The agreement was part of the broader exhibition that saw participation from over 800 exhibitors globally, including major stakeholders and government officials who discussed numerous industry challenges and potential solutions. A highlight of the technological advancement is the 'SolarfiX SRA,' a solar tracker that promises a 120% increase in energy generation compared to traditional systems.
