Watch: Huge fire breaks out at Spice Mall in Noida

A huge fire broke out at Spice Mall in Noida in Sector 25 on Monday afternoon. Several fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in less than an hour.

The fire broke out due to exhaust fan on the top floor of the shopping mall. The smoke spread out to the other floors due to Air Handling Unit (AHU) which made people think that the fire was burning on other floors as well. 

People were evacuated safely and there have been no reports of injuries.

The fire that broke out in the afternoon looked very huge and thick plumes of smoke could be seen from distance rising out of the building of the mall.

Earlier today, a massive fire broke out at a menthol warehouse in Kasna area of Greater Noida. Around 18 fire engines from Noida and Ghaziabad were rushed to the spot to control the blaze.
