A release said 2,26,335 people were vaccinated on Sunday, taking the overall number of doses administered so far in the state to 1,84,04,654.
It said 1,82,569 people in the 18-44 age group were vaccinated during the day, taking the number of beneficiaries in this segment to 24,75,528.
An official said the COVID-19 tally in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu rose to 10,391 with the addition of six new cases, while the recovery count increased by 25 to touch 10,201, leaving it with 186 active cases.
