PTI correspondent Uzmi Athar has received the international Ulrich Wickert Award for Children's Rights for her impactful reporting on the harmful effects of high fluoride concentrations in water. Ulrich Wickert, a former German TV anchorman, alongside a high-calibre jury, selected Athar for this prestigious journalism award. The recognition from the Ulrich Wickert Foundation will be officially awarded on September 5.
