JRS Pharma and Gujarat Microwax Open New Manufacturing Facility in Mehsana

JRS Pharma, a leading manufacturer of excipients, has teamed up with Gujarat Microwax Pvt Ltd. to open a state-of-the-art facility for cotton-based croscarmellose sodium in Mehsana. This new plant, operational from July 10, 2024, is their fourth manufacturing site in India. The grand opening saw attendance from over 50 pharmaceutical company heads and other dignitaries.

Rohit Raut, MD of Rettenmaier India, highlighted the growing demand for functional excipients in India due to increasing health and wellness awareness. Similarly, Manas Jhajharia, Director of Gujarat Microwax, underscored the plant's potential to meet global standards and reduce import dependency.
