Authorities have initiated an investigation following the emergence of photographs depicting beer cans and water bottles stored in the vaccine freezer of a primary health centre in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh.
Chief Medical Officer Vinay Kumar Singh confirmed the discovery at the Dharpa centre on Monday, underlining that only vaccines should be kept in the freezer.
Singh announced that a probe has been ordered and stern action will be taken against anyone found responsible for this serious oversight.
