Chhattisgarh: Man kills ailing 76-year-old mother in Raipur

A man was arrested in Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur for allegedly murdering his ailing 76-year-old mother, a police official said on Friday.

The incident took place on September 20 in Mathpara locality, the Tikrapara police station official said.

''Golu alias Jayesh Jadhav (35), strangled his mother Shakuntala Jadhav (76). The post mortem revealed strangulation after which a murder case was registered. Jadhav was questioned on suspicion and he confessed to killing as he was fed up of taking care of her,'' the official said.
