The Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) executive committee has passed a proposal to remove vice-president Abhi Dahiya following allegations of vandalism at the union's North Campus office, sources reveal.
Dahiya, affiliated with NSUI, has termed the move as 'illlegal' and 'agenda-driven,' attributing the allegations to political motives. He alleged that ABVP members targeted him for exposing a fake marksheet scandal involving DUSU president Tushar Dedha.
The proposal will now be reviewed by DUSU's central council and a meeting of various student unions' presidents for a final decision, while a university committee probes the matter.
