The Rajasthan Police arrested a long-wanted criminal, Bachchu Singh Gurjar, on Wednesday. Gurjar, a member of the notorious Keshav Gurjar gang, had evaded authorities for three years and carried a bounty of Rs 10,000 on his head.
The police apprehended Gurjar in Bhojpur village, known for his criminal activities in Rajasthan and neighboring Madhya Pradesh, according to Karauli SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay. Gurjar was being sought for his involvement in two separate cases registered at the Masalpur police station.
In a separate incident, the New Mandi police of Hindaun apprehended Mansingh Rajput, 45, from Madhya Pradesh. Rajput had been on the run for 23 years in connection with a triple murder case.
