The Pune Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has received a formal complaint requesting an open inquiry into Dilip Khedkar, a retired government officer, and father of controversial IAS probationer Puja Khedkar, over suspicions of disproportionate assets, a senior official confirmed.
The Nashik division of the ACB is already investigating him for similar allegations. The Pune division has sought directives from the ACB headquarters on whether to merge the new complaint with the existing inquiry or to initiate a separate investigation.
Dilip Khedkar and his wife, Manorama, are currently untraceable after being implicated in an incident where Manorama was seen threatening people with a gun in a video amid a land dispute. Additionally, their daughter, Puja Khedkar, faces scrutiny about her disability and OBC certificates during her UPSC candidacy. This led to the suspension of her district training program and her recall to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration for further action.
