In a remote forest village in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, two army personnel sustained injuries in a gunfight with terrorists early Thursday morning. The confrontation occurred around 2 am when terrorists attacked a temporary security camp set up in a government school for search operations.
Despite harsh weather conditions, an advanced light helicopter from Air Force Station, Udhampur, successfully evacuated one of the critically injured soldiers to the Command Hospital in Udhampur for urgent medical care. Security forces also responded to suspicious movements near the Line of Control in Rajouri district.
A massive search operation is ongoing in Doda following earlier attacks and the killing of four army personnel. The intense manhunt continues despite heavy rains and dense fog. Security officials remain steadfast in their efforts to neutralize the terrorists and restore peace to the region.
