Shocking Incident: Teenage Girl Allegedly Raped by Seven in West Bengal

In a disturbing incident from West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district, a teenage girl was allegedly raped by seven individuals, including four minors. The incident took place inside a tea garden, according to a senior police officer who disclosed the information on Thursday.

The girl's family lodged an FIR earlier this week after the accused circulated a video clip of the assault on social media. Subsequently, all seven accused were apprehended within the last three days. Four minors were sent to a juvenile home, while the three adults were either remanded to police or judicial custody.

The victim had reportedly gone to a secluded spot inside the tea garden at the request of one accused, said to be her boyfriend. Upon arrival, she was assaulted by the seven on a Sunday afternoon. Police officers revealed that the accused also recorded the incident and shared the video online, which led to the family filing a complaint.
