The German foreign ministry has issued a stark warning to its citizens in Lebanon, urging them to leave immediately amid rising tensions in the region.
Addressing the rumors of a possible evacuation by German authorities, a spokesperson stated, 'The time now has come to leave Lebanon,' advising citizens to arrange their own exit even if it involves traveling via Turkey or incurring high flight costs.
Meanwhile, the defense ministry remained tight-lipped about any specific plans or preparations for evacuations, should the Middle East conflict escalate further.
