Ukraine's Air Defense Thwarts Russian Missile and Drone Attack

Ukraine's air force successfully intercepted two out of four missiles and all four drones launched by Russia during an overnight assault. Ukraine's air force announced on Thursday that it intercepted two out of four missiles and all four drones launched by Russia in an overnight attack.

According to the report, Russia deployed two Kh-59 missiles, which were successfully downed by Ukraine, and two ballistic Iskander-M missiles that targeted the northeastern Kharkiv region. As of Thursday morning, Governor Oleh Syniehubov had not reported on the aftermath of the attack.

In central Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, Governor Serhiy Lysak stated that air defenses had destroyed a missile and reported various overnight attacks by Russia. A 12-year-old boy was injured, and two homes were damaged. Meanwhile, Kirovohrad's Governor Andriy Raykovych reported no damage after air defenses intercepted attacks in the central region.
