Philippine Navy Condemns Chinese Air Force Actions in Scarborough Shoal

The Philippine Navy has accused the Chinese Air Force of engaging in coercive, aggressive, and deceptive actions in Scarborough Shoal last week.

Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad emphasized that such actions have no place in the international arena, which is governed by international law.

The Philippines reported that China’s air force dropped flares and performed dangerous maneuvers, endangering its pilots over the disputed South China Sea. In response, the Chinese military asserted that its actions were conducted in a professional and legal manner.
