Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has confirmed that Ukraine is within its rights to defend itself, even if this involves conducting military operations in Russia's Kursk region. This statement was made on Wednesday.
"Ukraine has the right to self-defence and it's clear that they can do their operation in Kursk," Orpo declared during a joint press conference held in Helsinki with his Estonian counterpart Kristen Michal.
Orpo's remarks underscore his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and its need to take essential defensive actions.
