Escaped Currency Swindler Nabbed in Kota

A man accused of swindling people through foreign currency exchange who escaped Mumbai police custody was captured by Kota police. Identified as Mohammed Fayak Hussain, he faces multiple charges under the IPC. Pursued by five police teams, he was finally apprehended following a tip-off and a detailed search operation.

In a significant breakthrough, Kota police have apprehended Mohammed Fayak Hussain, a fugitive accused of duping people through foreign currency exchange scams. Hussain, who had escaped police custody in Mumbai, was captured at the Kota railway station.

Hussain, identified by various aliases, had been evading capture for four months. Multiple teams from the Mumbai Crime Branch had been chasing leads across several states.

The pivotal tip came through a WhatsApp message from the Mumbai Crime Branch, leading Bhimganjmandi police, along with District Special Teams (DST), to conduct a search operation. They located Hussain at an Old Pump House near the railway station and confirmed his identity before handing him over to the Mumbai Crime Branch.
