Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday attributed the party's poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections in West Bengal to a lack of support from the minority community.
Addressing the BJP's state executive committee, Adhikari proposed shifting from 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' to 'Hum unke saath jo humare saath' (we are with those who are with us).
Adhikari later clarified that his comments were taken out of context, emphasizing that he embodies Prime Minister Modi's call for unity and development for all.
