In a rare public appearance, Melania Trump, the wife of former President Donald Trump, will attend the Republican National Convention on Thursday, as he accepts the party's nomination for the 2024 presidential election, according to reports.
Trump, 78, is slated to deliver his acceptance speech at the event, which occurs once every four years. On Monday, delegates officially nominated him as the Republican candidate for the upcoming November election against the incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden. This marks the third consecutive time Trump has secured the Republican nomination.
Melania, along with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, is expected to attend the convention, with his sons Don Jr. and Eric also present earlier this week. Despite a largely low-profile campaign, Melania made headlines following a recent assassination attempt on Trump in Pennsylvania, where she urged Americans to work towards a more respectful society.
