The Congress has unveiled a strategy aimed at capturing power in Kerala's local bodies through organized activities. Following a successful performance in the Lok Sabha polls, the Congress-led UDF is poised to take decisive action.
The KPCC meeting, held over two days, involved senior leaders formulating action plans to address local issues and campaign. KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan, and Ramesh Chennithala were given key roles.
Emphasis was laid on protesting against decisions perceived as anti-people by central and state governments, notably the closure of the Palakkad Railway Division. A strong agitation is planned if the decision proceeds, with Congress MPs ready to protest.
