The Odisha government has officially dissolved the state planning board, according to an official release made public on Wednesday.
This decision received the green light from Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and follows the BJP's assumption of power in the state just a month ago.
Sources indicate that the Odisha government plans to establish a new planning board in the near future.
