AIADMK Criticizes DMK over Electricity Tariff Hike Amid Political Tensions in Tamil Nadu

In a scathing critique, AIADMK leader Sellur Raju lambasted the DMK government for hiking electricity tariffs, labeling the increase as a 'gift' to constituents who backed DMK in recent elections.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Raju commented that the DMK administration has raised electricity tariffs thrice during its tenure, exacerbating financial woes for residents. He also expressed safety concerns for political leaders in Madurai, following recent assassinations.

Raju announced that AIADMK will spearhead a state-wide protest against the tariff increase and the prevailing law and order situation. He asserted that the people of Tamil Nadu are ready to oust the DMK government, predicting a victorious return for AIADMK in upcoming elections.
