Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Thursday appointed Thomas Djiwandono, the nephew of President-elect Prabowo Subianto, as the new deputy finance minister.
According to a senior official from the Gerindra political party, Thomas Djiwandono will maintain this position in Prabowo's upcoming administration starting in October.
