Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has delivered a strong condemnation of recent actions by the Chinese air force at Scarborough Shoal. In a statement on Sunday, his communications office labeled these actions as 'unjustified, illegal and reckless.'
Speaking through the Presidential Communications Office, Marcos Jr. highlighted the precariousness of the situation, noting that efforts to calm the waters have barely begun.
'It is already worrying that there could be instability in our airspace,' the statement read, which was posted on the social media platform X.
