Thailand Parliament Set to Elect New Prime Minister

Thailand's lower house of parliament is scheduled to convene on Friday to elect a new prime minister, following the dismissal of Srettha Thavisin by a court ruling.

Prommin Lertsuridej, ex-chief of staff under previous Pheu Thai-led administrations, revealed to Reuters that the crucial vote will take place as planned.
