JD Vance to Debate Rival Tim Walz on National TV

U.S. Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance announced on Thursday his agreement to debate his Republican rival, Tim Walz, on two major television networks.

The debates are scheduled for September 18 on CNN and October 1 on CBS, offering voters a chance to hear the candidates' positions live.

In a post on the X social media network, Vance stated, "The American people deserve as many debates as possible ... I look forward to seeing you at both."
