In the past 24 hours, ten people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh, a state relief commissioner office report revealed on Wednesday.
The report highlighted that casualties included three each in Moradabad and Gorakhpur, and one each in Pilibhit, Lalitpur, Ghazipur, and Etah.
Thirteen districts are flood-affected, including Lakhimpur Kheri, Kushinagar, and Barabanki. Major rivers like Rapti in Gorakhpur and Budhi Rapti in Siddharth Nagar have exceeded danger levels.
