Rajasthan Receives Heavy Showers: Jhalawar Tops with Maximum Rainfall

Heavy rainfall was recorded in parts of Rajasthan, with Jhalawar district receiving the highest at 75 mm in the last 24 hours. Fatehgarh in Jaisalmer followed with 43 mm. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms were also reported in both eastern and western regions of the state.

In the last 24 hours, multiple areas of Rajasthan experienced heavy showers, with Jhalawar district recording the highest rainfall at 75 mm, according to officials.

The meteorological department in Jaipur reported that Pidaawa in Jhalawar received the maximum rainfall, closely followed by Fatehgarh in Jaisalmer with 43 mm.

Thunderstorms accompanied light to moderate rainfall across different parts of eastern and western Rajasthan, adding to the weather variability in the state.
