Hurricane Debby Strikes South Carolina's Bulls Bay

Hurricane Debby has made landfall near Bulls Bay, South Carolina, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) announced on Thursday.

The storm was situated approximately 65 miles (100 km) southwest of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, at the time of the announcement, with maximum sustained winds reaching 50 mph (85 kph), according to the NHC.
