Manchester United newcomer Joshua Zirkzee has promised fans a glimpse of creativity and unpredictability on the field. Zirkzee honed his skills in cage football and drew inspiration from legends like Ronaldinho and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 23-year-old striker recently signed with United after a stellar season with Bologna, where he scored 11 goals and provided five assists, helping them secure a spot in the Champions League group stage.
'It's been a roller-coaster the past few weeks, but I'm thrilled to be here,' Zirkzee shared on United's website. 'Joining Manchester United is a positive milestone, and I can't wait to continue my progress from last season.'
Standing at 1.93 meters, Zirkzee attributes his technical prowess to his upbringing in Spijkenisse, Netherlands. There, he sharpened his skills in Johan Cruyff cages, playing against older, tougher opponents. Zirkzee also expressed gratitude towards Dutch manager Erik ten Hag and former United player Ruud van Nistelrooy for helping him settle into the team.
