Veer Chotrani and Anjali Semwal have been announced as the top seeds in the men’s and women’s categories respectively for the Bombay Gymkhana 47th Maharashtra State Open Squash Tournament, which kicks off on July 20. The tournament, a key event in India's squash calendar, is set to feature intense competition among some of the nation's top players.
In the men’s draw, Rahul Baitha has been seeded second, while Mahesh Mangaonkar and Om Semwal share the joint third and fourth seed positions. For the women, the second seed is Sunita Patel, with Aradhya Porwal and Rani Gupta tied for the third and fourth seeds.
The under-19 categories also boast strong contenders, with Siddhant Rewari and Reiva Nimbalkar leading the boys’ and girls’ sections respectively. Other notable seeds include Darshil Parasrampuria and Rudra Singh in the under-17 divisions.
