Enea Bastianini of Ducati clinched the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, completing a weekend double. He triumphed over new world championship leader Jorge Martin and twice MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia.
Bagnaia, who qualified second, initially led the race but was surpassed by Martin with eight laps remaining. Martin seemed poised for victory but made a critical error in the final moments, which Bastianini capitalized on after starting third.
Marc Marquez, six-time MotoGP champion, began in seventh and finished fourth, while Aprilia's Aleix Espargaro, who set a lap record in the qualifiers, ended sixth. Martin now leads the championship by three points, with Bagnaia and Bastianini in second and third.
