Kylian Mbappe scored on his debut as Real Madrid clinched a 2-0 victory over Atalanta, securing the European Super Cup on Wednesday.
Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde gave the European champions the lead after 59 minutes from close range. French striker Mbappe then fired the ball into the top corner from Jude Bellingham's pass to extend the Spanish side's advantage nine minutes later.
Real Madrid's triumph marked their record sixth Super Cup win, surpassing Barcelona and AC Milan who have each lifted the trophy five times.
