Airtel launches 5G services in seven more cities in Odisha and Gujarat

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has launched its ultrafast 5G services in seven more Indian cities. These include Anugul, Sambalpur, Berhampur and Balasore in Odisha and Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot in Gujarat.

The Airtel 5G Plus services are now live in the following locations in these cities:

Odisha

• Anugul: Similipada, Hulursingha,Tamrit Colony, Giranga,Amalapada, Mishrapada, Lingarajodi, Anugul Railway Station, Khandasar, Khalari, Pragati Nagar, Susuda, Karadagadia
• Sambalpur: Sakhipada, Ainthapali, Motijharan, Barpalli Chowk (Bareipali), Naksapali, Dhanakuda,Remed, City Station,Budharaja
• Berhampur: Gosani Nuagaon, Baidyanathpur, Stadium area, Gandhinagar, Sriramnagar, Gajapati Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Ankuli, Panchasila Nagar, Panda Colony, Khodasing
• Balasore: Rani Patna, Mallikashpur, Sutei, Balia, Angargadia, Sunhat, Samalpur, Satyanagar, Jujestipur Patna, Laxminarayan Nagar

For the unversed, Airtel’s 5G services are already live in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela and Puri.

Gujarat

• Surat: Mota Varachha, Katargam, Dabholi, Parvat Patiya, New Dindoli, Bhestan, Vadod Road, Pandesara, Vesu VIP Road
• Vadodara: Sayaji Baug, Nizampura, Alkapuri, Sevasi, New VIP Road, Waghodia road, Chhani, Bajwa, Gorwa, Raopura, Manjalpur
• Rajkot: Madhapar, Raiya road, Nava Thorala, Bhaktinagar, Mavdi, Kothariya, P&T Colony, Old Jakatnaka

The Airtel 5G Plus services are already live in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.

Airtel customers with 5G smartphones in these cities can experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds upto 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds at no extra cost until the rollout is more widespread.

The telco is rolling out its 5G services in a phased manner and will make its services accessible in numerous other locations within these cities in due course of time.
