NASSCOM has expressed its disappointment and concerns over Karnataka's new bill requiring private sector job reservations for locals.
The Karnataka State Employment of Local Industries Factories Establishment Act Bill, 2024 mandates private firms to employ Kannadigas in Group C and D category posts.
NASSCOM, representing the Indian tech industry, warned that restrictions could lead companies to relocate as local talent becomes scarce, urging the state government to reconsider the bill.
