River Mobility Pvt Ltd, based in Bengaluru, has unveiled plans to open 100 showrooms by March 2026, supported by investors such as Yamaha Motor Corp and Mitsui & Company Ltd, a top official revealed.
The company recently inaugurated its first outlet in Chennai and plans to establish 15 more stores by November and 50 by March 2025, said CEO and Co-Founder Aravind Mani.
Highlighting the significance of the Chennai market, Mani noted its substantial EV potential and revealed that the first Chennai store is company-owned and operated. The company aims to open more Chennai outlets and a second Tamil Nadu store in Coimbatore within the next year.
