City-based startup MiniMines Cleantech Solutions has taken a significant step forward with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka government to establish a Rs 350-crore Giga Critical Minerals Refining Complex in Bengaluru.
This complex aims to reduce India's dependence on imported materials by ensuring a constant supply of refined minerals critical for sectors like electric vehicles, renewable energy, and electronics.
The initiative promises to create more than 1,500 jobs, contribute around Rs 1,300 crore in annual turnover, and align with Karnataka's focus on sustainability and innovation in technology.
