Haryana CM announces separate development authority for Faridabad

Chandigarh, Sep 13 (IANS) Faridabad city, which adjoins the national capital, will have its own development authority.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced the constitution of the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority (FMDA) on the pattern of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) to provide basic infrastructure facilities to the people of Faridabad.
Khattar said that since Faridabad was the second largest city of Haryana after Gurugram, it had been decided to constitute FMDA to make available all infrastructure facilities to the people and address their problems.
