Cobra Kai Season 3 cast revealed, likely to release in December 2020

Cobra Kai Season 3 is a highly-loved American action comedy-drama YouTube Premium series based on The Karate Kid film series. Season 2 was aired on April 24, 2019. The success of Season 2 paved way to the making of Season 3.

Cobra Kai Season 3 was announced 11 months back and it was set to premiere in May 2020. But the outbreak of Covid-19 shattered the global entertainment industry and brought it to a standstill. The majority of the film and series makers had either postponed or stopped the production due to lockdown.

Cobra Kai Season 3 is expected to see many new characters. It will feature Ralph Macchio (as Daniel LaRusso), William Zabka (as Jhonny Lawrence), Mary Mouser (as Samantha LaRusso), Tanner Buchanan (as Robby Keene), Xolo Mariduena (as Miguel Diaz), Peyton List (as Tory), Jacob Bertrand (as Eli Moskowitz), Martin Kove (as John Kreese), Nichole Brown (as Aisha Robinson), Hannah Kepple (as Moon), Vanessa Rubio (as Carmen Diaz), Courtney Henggeler (as Amanda LaRusso), Gianni Decenzo (as Demetri), Aideen Mincks (as Mitch), Paul Walter Hauser (as  Raymond), and Khalil Everage (as Chris).

Cobra Kai Season 3 is likely to show the battle between Miyagi-Do dojos and Cobra Kai. This commenced in the second season and will be continued in the third season. Jhonny Lawrence will be back in the third season. Miguel’s injury, Johnny and Carmen’s relationship, Kreese’s takeover of the Cobra Kai Dojo and many other things are likely to be portrayed in the third season.

It is expected that the battle between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do dojos, which started in season 2 will be carried on in season 3. Jhonny Lawrence(The Karate Kid) will be back in season 3. Season 3 will focus more on John Kreese’s past when he was in Vietnam. Many things from season 2 are expected to be carried on in season 3, they include Miguel’s injury, Kreese’s takeover of the Cobra Kai Dojo, Johnny and Carmen’s relationship, Ali’s rekindled friendship with Johnny.

Cobra Kai Season 1 was released on May 2, 2018 and the second season on April 24, 2019, both on YouTube Premium. Following the postponement of Season 3’s premiere in May due to the coronavirus pandemic situation, it is expected to be released in December 2020. However, there has been no official announcement on it.

We don’t have any trailer yet for Cobra Kai Season 3. We can expect it two months earlier than the official release date.
