AI-driven seismic models are transforming earthquake early warning (EEW) systems by delivering real-time, highly accurate magnitude estimations. Researchers trained deep learning models—MagNet, DCRNN, DCRNNAmp, and Exams—on thousands of earthquake records, with DCRNNAmp achieving the highest accuracy. By integrating AI with seismic networks, future EEW systems can issue faster, life-saving alerts. Continued advancements in feature extraction, ensemble learning, and cloud-based AI will further enhance earthquake preparedness and resilience worldwide.
