Malawi to host Art and Cultural Festival on June 9

Art and Global Health Center Umunthu, Malawi to host Art and Cultural Festival on June 9, 2018. The main aim of the event is to celebrate the heritage of Africa through arts and crafts.

According to one of the organizers, Pauline Mujasi, the festival would take place at four seasons center.

"There will be a mobile museum featuring art craft from at least fifteen African countries and also there will be a craft fair with pieces from Malawi and beyond", she said.

Mujasi highlighted the fact that unlike other festivals, this one will give an insightful picture of African culture through the mobile museum.

She urged students interested in arts and learning about the African continent should attend the festival. It will be a great learning experience for them.

The organizers said that there would be African storytelling session's fun and educational activities special for children. The festival will start at 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
