USAID, ADB and the Korea Energy Agency are going to organize the Asian Clean Energy Forum (ACEF) 2018. The aim of the forum is to share best practices in policy, technology, and finance in order to meet the region's climate and energy security challenges. The forum will begin on June 4 and will continue for 4 days at ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines.

The 2018 Asia Clean Energy Forum will promote the exchange of knowledge on clean energy and related issues through targeted and in-depth discussion sessions.

The format has been designed in such a way that it allows participants to delve in and out of topics. This gives them the opportunity to learn at technical as well as hands-on level along with an understanding at a macro level.

The objectives of the forum are:

  1. Facilitate knowledge-sharing among clean energy practitioners in Asia
  2. Highlight innovative approaches to packaging and scaling up clean energy initiatives
  3. Take stock of the progress in advancing the clean energy agenda in Asia
